In this class, students will learn land navigation skills such as:
- Map reading and orientation
- Determining and plotting grid coordinate
- Terrain features and association
- Compass and protractor usage, grid/ magnetic azimuth conversions
- Pace count and lateral drift
Students must bring a protractor and a compass. We recommend the suunto MC2 compass
